Caring for Your Handcrafted Jewelry
Your handcrafted jewelry features premium gemstones and hand-forged metal components. With proper care, your pieces will maintain their beauty and integrity for years to come.
Daily Wear: Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or engaging in activities that may expose it to moisture, chemicals, or impact. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, and cleaning products, as these can dull gemstones and metal finishes.
Cleaning: Gently clean your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth. For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water with mild soap and a soft-bristled brush, then pat dry immediately. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners or steam cleaning, as these may damage delicate gemstones or hand-forged components.
Storage: Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep pieces in a soft pouch or jewelry box to prevent scratching and tangling. Store different pieces separately to avoid damage from friction.
Gemstone Care: Gemstones vary in durability and sensitivity. Protect all stones from extreme temperature changes and prolonged exposure to heat or direct sunlight, which may affect their color and clarity. Handle with care to avoid chips or cracks.
Metal Care: Hand-forged metals develop a natural patina over time, which adds character and authenticity to each piece. If you prefer to maintain shine, use a soft polishing cloth designed for jewelry. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that may damage the metal.
